The plane has been repaired! We are on our way to Happy Valley, Newfoundland and will be making the "jump over the pond" over the next two days.
We have so many people to thank for helping us continue on our Flight To End Polio! A huge shout out to all of the amazing mechanics who worked around the clock overcoming so many obstacles to get us back in the air. Their skill and support of our mission was above and beyond and we are grateful beyond words.
We also continue to thank everyone for their ongoing thoughts and prayers. Please keep them coming over the next 90 days.
Thank you to all the Rotarians in New Hampshire and Maine who welcomed us and celebrated the flight with us all week.
With all the good news, however, we have had to make a disheartening flight plan change. Due to the time it’s taken to get repairs completed, we are overwhelmingly frustrated that we will not make it to Wick, Scotland in time for their planned celebration. Words fall short in expressing our regret and we hope everyone there will understand how our mechanical set backs forced this change in plan.
