Ed's Daily Blog - September 19, 2025

Sept.19.2025

Well, we finally left Duxford today! We arrived on Sept.16 and had mechanical issues with the nose wheel strut which needed new seals. A broken ignition switch repair was made to the old switch to prevent it from rotating as it could not be removed. But it was stabilized and did not rotate any longer.

We had a presentation scheduled for Bilbao, Spain on Sept 17. I needed to take care of plane issues which were completed in 1 day.

Peter hopped on a commercial flight and he made his presentation in Bilbao, Spain on time. He returned to Duxford the next day in time for a presentation at Hitchin, UK to a group of over 60 people!

We are now over France at 8,000 ft with a 30 kt. headwind. This will be an over 9 hr. flight due to terrible routing.

Editor's note: Peter and Ed made it just fine from Duxford, UK to Cascais, Portugal that day but it was a long trip! You can see photos and video here and here.
